I finished my Christmas quilt! It’s so pretty! =) I used a flannel backing, so it’s nice and soft too, and done in plenty of time for Christmas.
Out of the leftover fabric, I made stockings. =) I love how they turned out =) Now I just have to see if I have enough fabric to make a tree skirt. I can’t wait to get to use my Christmas decorations!

In September I went to Oklahoma for a visit! I got to meet baby Raegan, which was so great! She is such a sweet, cuddly baby. She is perfectly content when she is being held =) I gave her a bunny and an elephant I made for her to match her baby bedding. We had a sewing day with Kelly too, and she finished sewing together the strips of her quilt. It is a beautiful quilt! Stripes of blue, browns and tans.

I stayed with Jen and little Casey a lot, and we got to paint the baby’s room! It’s a nice, soft green. She bought the chamois lamby baby stuff from pottery barn, and I think it’s a perfect nursery. She has a nice yellow chair coming too. Even little Casey painted. =)
I also got to spend some time with Doris, who is living in Tulsa for a year doing residency stuff. She is getting married in May, and she’s letting me help plan and do her flowers! So we got together to look through pictures and get ideas. She took me to see this dress, which is the style she loves. Doesn’t she look beautiful! I’m spending a lot of my time now surfing the internet, looking for ideas and sending off e-mails about wedding stuff. Not only is the planning fun, but I get to talk to Doris a lot!

Personally, I liked it best at the small trimmed beard, but I like the length of the light goatee. But you can vote too! =)
