Hey guys =) Once again, the wonderful Gavin has pointed out that my website has no new content. I blame this partially on my inability to upload pictures into My Gallery at the moment, but for now I’ll just put up some recent news from us. The biggest news is that we have a new nephew and a new great niece! I went to Tulsa in June and got to visit them. They are adorable! Carson was born at the beginning of May, and Kiley the end of April. I had a great visit in Tulsa =) I got to play a lot with all my nieces and nephews. Casey and Barrett and Allison stayed at Mom’s in Stroud for a few days, and I spent a couple of days in Tulsa with Raegan and Carson. Raegan and I had an especially good time =) She’s a little shy at first and we’d never had enough time together to get to know each other, but this visit we played a lot! It was wonderful fun =) She loves to read. She isn’t two yet, and she has this 300 page toddler bible. I sat there with her while she turned every single page in that book! She’d look at the pictures and point at things and describe them to me. She still speaks her own special language, but there is a lot more now that is understandable. Her favorite phrases are “Dada work” and “Baby Noise.” She loves Happy Feet. We watched it while I was over at her house, and she danced like crazy whenever Mumble did. She’s a bit of a daredevil, throwing herself all over the place. It is so cute to watch her dance! Grandma Eva, Aunt Joyce and Uncle Bruce happened to come into town while I was visiting, so we all got together for dinner. I am so lucky the visit coincided with mine! We had a blast, almost thirty of us in the Mexican restaurant at Stroud. I was pretty proud of the fact that I stuck with my diet of no sugar and no white flour when faced with tortillas =) Oh, I suppose that’s new too. I started doing the Sonoma diet. My mom did this diet, and lost a lot of weight and says she has lots of energy. Hopefully it works for me too =) It seems to so far! And it isn’t as hard as I thought it would be to live without sugar. I’m never hungry, which is nice. Anyway, we had a great time visiting! It was so nice to see everyone =) |
